Should I Develop Custom Themes and Plugins for Bludit?

Hi, I'm using Bludit and I want to make theme and plugin specific to it, do you think I should do it to this system?

I'm starting the project tomorrow. I want to slowly develop the theme and plugins and release them to everyone.

Bludit is great but as regards plugins... you can follow my frustration here:

I am no hi-level tech and can navigate well enough but a bit of help from 'those who know how' is helpful.
develop the theme and plugins and release them to everyone
This is also my thought but my first, tentative foray is being thwarted somehow.
Nevertheless I would encourage you to give it a go.
